Three Skulls Furniture Customer Review: Inside Gordon’s Rustic Bedroom

There’s something special about seeing furniture we’ve made become part of somebody’s home. Gordon’s bedroom is full of character, and we’re proud to have played a part in bringing it together.

With warm timber, a bold orange wall and colourful bedding, his room shows just how well rustic furniture can work in a space that feels completely personal.

From a Tudor Bed to a Matching Bedroom

Gordon originally purchased a Tudor bed from Three Skulls Furniture before expanding his order to include a four-door wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

The wardrobe’s traditional plank doors and black hinges sit alongside the substantial bed frame, while the chest adds practical storage with the same rustic character. The natural grain, knots and variations in the timber give each piece its own appearance while bringing the room together.

Two matching bedside tables complete the setup, with useful drawer storage on either side of the bed.

These photographs are from Gordon’s own home, showing the furniture settled into everyday life. We love seeing what our customers do with the pieces once they leave our workshop.

A Thank-You for His Patience

We also want to be honest about the journey. Gordon waited longer than he should have for his remaining furniture, and we’re grateful for the patience and understanding he showed us.

As a thank-you, we supplied the two bedside tables free of charge. That gesture doesn’t undo the delay, but it was our way of recognising his patience and doing something positive to complete his bedroom.
