Three Skulls Furniture lifetime workmanship guarantee featuring the handmade Stocks Bed

Our Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee

Furniture should not simply look substantial. It should be made properly, supported properly and backed by the people who built it.

With more than 20 years’ experience behind our work, we are putting that commitment into writing through the Three Skulls Furniture Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee.

If an issue arises as a result of our workmanship, we will always put it right.

What our lifetime workmanship guarantee means

Our guarantee covers furniture manufactured by C&IVENTURES LTD trading as Three Skulls Furniture. If a verified issue has been caused by the way we manufactured or assembled the furniture, we will take responsibility and arrange a suitable remedy.

For the purposes of this guarantee, “lifetime” means for as long as the original purchaser owns the furniture. The guarantee begins from the original delivery date and is not transferable unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

What is covered?

The guarantee covers confirmed manufacturing and workmanship faults, including:

  • Structural joints failing because of the way the furniture was made.
  • Fixings installed by us failing because of incorrect manufacture or assembly.
  • Components made or fitted incorrectly by us.
  • Other structural issues that we confirm were caused by our workmanship.

If a covered fault is confirmed, there will be no charge for the remedial workmanship required to put it right. Depending on the nature of the issue, the solution may involve a replacement component, a workshop repair, an agreed on-site repair or another appropriate remedy.

What is not a workmanship fault?

Real timber is a natural material. It responds to temperature, humidity, sunlight and the environment inside the home. Natural variation is one of the reasons every handmade piece is different.

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Natural grain, knots, colour variation, small surface checks or reasonable timber movement.
  • Normal wear and tear, ageing or cosmetic wear to finishes.
  • Accidental damage, misuse, overloading or damage caused by pets.
  • Damage caused while moving, dismantling or incorrectly reassembling the furniture.
  • Alterations or repairs carried out by anyone not authorised by Three Skulls Furniture.
  • Damage caused by damp, excessive heat, prolonged direct sunlight or unsuitable storage conditions.
  • Problems with mattresses or other third-party products, which remain subject to the relevant manufacturer’s guarantee.

How to report an issue

Please use our contact page and provide:

  • The name, email address or order number used for the purchase.
  • A clear explanation of the issue and when it first appeared.
  • Clear photographs and, where helpful, a short video.
  • The current location of the furniture.

We may ask for further information or arrange an inspection before confirming whether the issue is covered. Once a workmanship fault is confirmed, we will explain the proposed remedy and the practical arrangements needed to complete it.

Your statutory rights

This guarantee is an additional promise from Three Skulls Furniture. It does not replace, restrict or reduce any rights customers have under UK consumer law.

Why we are making this promise

Handmade furniture should not become unsupported the moment it is delivered. We want customers to know that when they buy furniture made by us, there is a real business standing behind the workmanship.

We cannot promise that natural timber will never move or that furniture will never experience everyday wear. What we can promise is straightforward: if an issue has been caused by our manufacturing or workmanship, we will take responsibility and put it right.

Handmade in Hull. Built with experience. Backed by our workmanship.
